Do Santa Lucía products work for all skin types?

Santa Lucía products are suitable for all skin types.  Our products are made from natural, cold pressed oils, butters and plant extracts. Because the products are water based they need preservatives to avoid bacteria growth so we use natural preservatives derived from Coconut oil and may include essential oils. If you have any concerns, we suggest that you test the product on a small patch of skin first. If you experience an adverse reaction to any of or products, please discontinue use. 

Are Santa Lucía products safe for pregnant women? 

Santa Lucía products are formulated with natural ingredients and are free of parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, silicone, pegs, sulfates and artificial colorants. While our products have been shown to be safe during pregnancy and nursing, we recommend that you always consult your doctor on the use of any product and for questions related to skin allergies that may arise during pregnancy.

What are your clean standards and non toxic definitions? 

We have formulated our products according the industry’s strictest definition of clean beauty. Our  formulas are free from o ver 2,700 harmful ingredients, including parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, polysorbates, petrolatum, paraffins, silicone, dimethicone, pegs, BHA, BHT, EDTA, DEA, TEA, MEA, ETA, formaldehyde, mineral oil, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone and artificial colorants.

Are your products vegan and cruelty free? 

Santa Lucía products are both vegan and cruelty-free.

We believe that we have a responsibility not only to our health, but to animals and the environment as well.

Is your packaging recyclable? 

We have mindfully chosen biodegradable materials whenever possible, and our packaging completely recycleable. Our paper packaging is made from environmentally friendly, FSC-certified paper.

Santa Lucía products are batched in an FDA certified lab in Southbridge, Massachusetts.
